ASIBA
ASIBA is an association which supports the British version of the International Option of the French Baccalauréat,
often known as the British OIB (Option Internationale du Baccalauréat).
Schools, international sections and parents’ associations involved in the teaching and running of the British OIB
form the membership of ASIBA. All members share a vision of the importance of the OIB as an essential part of
international provision within French schools and as a unique example of practical educational co-operation
between two countries.
The Association operates within the framework of French association law dating from 1901 and is therefore termed
an association loi 1901. ASIBA spends the very minimum on administration, since all
of its members are volunteers whose time and costs (such as travel expenses) are either given by them personally
or are paid for by member schools or associations.

membership fees.
